How To Save Up Money For An American Girl

1. Find a jar or envelope to hold your money.  Decorate it with american girl doll stickers, and don't forget to write what that jar is for! (On my jar, I added my wishlist and what to do with the money).
2. Add money to it constantly. When your birthday comes, or when you get money on Holiday's add some money to it. If it's a gift card ask your parents if you can go to the bank and exchange it for cash.

EXTRAS TO EARN MONEY:

1.Look around for loose change. Look under the couch cushions, your bed, (this will get you enough money to get started). 

2.Chores! (BOOOOO!) Even though almost everyone hates chores, this is good enough to get you at least $10 a week for allowance.

3.Don't steal money!! If someone finds out they could take your money and you'll end up without cash for a while since yo found all the cash laying around in your house.

4.Lawnwork! Like lemonade stands, even though this is lame, I got like $40 from a lemonade and cookie stand I made with my sister. Mowing lawns, babysitting (to babysit, I would suggest being at least 10) , and watering plants will at least get you $40 or $50.

5.Yard sale. Ask your parents if you can sell some of your old stuff. (teddy bears, Barbie dolls, clothes, books) that you had since forever. Also if you do this, you'll make some space in your room to put your new stuff!
