Poor Bitty-Baby!

Yesterday, my mom emailed me when she was at work this bitty-baby: (is she cute? or what? yeah......)

I won on eBay this bitty-baby for only $4.24! But she has a silver eye! Darn... when I get her in the mail I'll show you guys her new look because I'm going to make her beautiful again!!! Now I like her better with the silver eye, it gives it kind of a hazel-look. So I'm going to try and get her another silver eye! (not by leaving her out in the sun!) Then clean her off with a Magic eraser, make her some outfits, a pair of shoes (it's only the doll that I won) and voila! She'll be good as new!


Why would your mom send you a doll to be repaired? 
I've been very interested in making my own custom dolls, and I looked all over eBay for dolls like this! And I really wanted to do this, basically.

I also got theses really cute books on how-to make 18" doll clothes with patterns, so I think I can make them a little bit bigger.
